New Year's gift roll of Henry VIII, King of England [manuscript], 1538/9 January 1.

List of gifts received by the King and, on the verso, gifts presented by the King. Each list arranged by rank starting with Prince Edward, "the Lady Mariee," "the Lady Elizabeth," and "the Lady Margret Doughtles," followed by Bishops, Dukes and Earls, and lesser Lords. Most gifts given by the King were of gilt, with value of each listed.
